Our pieces
All Flourré jewelry is crafted from stainless steel. Stainless steel is considered one of the most eco-friendly metals for a few reasons:
1. It is 100% recyclable, meaning it will never render useless and may always be reused once recycled
2. Unlike most metals stainless steel isn't coated with toxins at production and thus doesn't leave toxic waste behind
* Plus stainless steel is highly durable, making Flourré jewelry long-lasting. win-win
Shipping materials
Most Flourré orders come in envelopes. These envelopes are made entirely from recycled waste, giving waste a second life and keeping plastic out of our oceans. They may also be recycled.
Some orders may come in cardboard boxes, which are also 100% recyclable.
Shipping labels: Our shipping labels are made with FSC-certified paper with non-toxic adhesive making them 100% compostable and recyclable.
Logo stickers: Our logo stickers are made of 100% recycled paper and can be recycled.
Please be sure to recycle the envelope or box your shipment came in, along with the shipping label and stickers.
Packaging materials
Flourré pouches
Every order comes with a Flourré jewelry pouch for storage.
These jewelry pouches are made of linen, one of the most eco-friendly fabrics.
Linen is biodegradable and made from flax, a natural fiber that doesn't necessitate pesticides to grow, making it a renewable source that won't harm the environment.
Product packaging
The cellophane bags your pieces come in for extra protection are made from certified compostable PLA material. These bags will leave no toxic residue and once thrown away will disintegrate into minerals supporting plant growth!
Jewelry cards may also be recycled.
